Maypole Dance 

Maypole dancing has recently enjoyed a revival of interest.  Like Morris dancing it provides valuable experience in teamwork, numeracy and spacial awareness.  The basic dances are easy to learn and they provide a colourful entertainment at fetes and fairs and other school events.  It is most suitable for KS2 pupils.
